Spiritual Support
Creating an environment of comfort and healing includes addressing a person’s spiritual needs. Facing a life-limiting illness can bring up many issues – the fear of isolation, the unknown, and leaving behind those we care most about. At St. Catherine’s, we understand that the road to true healing comes through a holistic approach, including helping people deal with the fears they have surrounding their next journey.
Spiritual support may come in the form of talking to one of our chaplains or a social worker, connecting patients to spiritual leaders in the community, or offering practical advice in dealing with the very real concerns associated with the end of life. Whatever path your spiritual practice takes, St. Catherine’s provides nonjudgmental and loving support to patients and their family members.
